✨Happy 2025!✨

We have some exciting things happening for our practice this year!

Firstly, another Absolute baby is on the way! Congratulations to our Charlie who is expecting her second pēpi this June! 🩷🩵

Our practice is growing as well!
We've got two new graduate midwives joining us, Brooke and Tiana who spent time with us last year. They will be officially starting beginning of Feb and available to take bookings from now. See their availability and get in touch on find your midwife below 👇👇

We've also got beautiful Jac joining and working in a shared care model with Ali.

Kim and Hannah have joined forces and will also be working in a shared care model.

And lastly Alice is very much enjoying her time off with Angus and her whānau but is also too eager to stay away for too long. She will be back into work by May, likely with Gussy in tow!

Have you heard of the Ōtepoti Dunedin Carrier Library?

We are open on the third Friday every month. During this time we provide the following services:
- We can help you fitting your own carrier for no charge;
- You can try on one of our extensive range of carriers for no charge. We know that carriers can be expensive and it can be hard to tell what will fit you best just from looking at pictures online
- You can hire one of our library carriers for a month for a small fee.

You can also just come for a chat with some friendly folk who are passionate about baby carriers!

Our fees (which cover the purchase and maintenance of our carriers) are:
$10 one off lifetime membership fee
$10 per month of carrier hire

We offer free stretchy wrap hire for newborns. These are our all time favourite carrier for getting those beautiful newborn snuggles in.

We also have a pre-loved carrier fund for anyone that needs a longer term carrier but the financial cost is a barrier.

We are open on the third Friday of every month
10am - 11.45am

In 2025, due to volunteer commitments, we will no longer be able to hold our coffee group on the first Friday of the month. If you are unable to visit us on the third Friday of the month or need urgent assistance please get in touch with us via messenger.

🎉Our Absolute Midwifery Babe has arrived! 🎉

Alice, Jordan and big brother Odin welcomed baby Angus Keanu Logie earthside on Monday, December 2nd in the early hours of the morning.
Māmā and pēpi are healthy and well and big brother Odin is beyond obsessed!

Ali is a wonderful midwife with a wealth of knowledge and experience. We are so very excited to have her join our practice!
