Dear Customers,

On 17 June 2025, the government has announced that certain preparations of melatonin have been reclassified to pharmacy-only medicines.

This enables melatonin to be sold in pharmacies for the following indications; adults over 55 years for primary insomnia and for adults 18 years and over for jet lag.

However, unfortunately, currently, there are no Medsafe-approved pharmacy-only packs available.

When this becomes available, we shall put out another facebook post.

Dear Customers,

The Government has announced that prescription lengths will be extended in future, but the change isn’t in place yet. Right now, the maximum length for most prescriptions is still three months.

The new rules are expected to come into effect in 2026, and there’s work happening behind the scenes to get systems and regulations ready.

When it does come in, it could mean that people with stable, long-term conditions may be able to get prescriptions for up to 12 months, but that will depend on what’s safe and appropriate for each person.

We’ll make sure you have clear information closer to the time, and nothing changes for now.

Flu Vaccinations 🎊🎉
It's that time of the year already! Throughout the month of APRIL, we will be doing vaccinations throughout the day; Mon to Fri 9am to 5pm, and Sat 9am to 3pm. No need to book in advance - just pop in anytime😀

We resume back to our usual vaccination hours from May (Mon to Fri 3.30pm to 5pm and Sat 9am to 3pm).
