This modernized hall could be used for a club rooms, meeting hall for community groups or even converted back into a home. The building still has a few character features and is in a generally good condition.

Life in The EmeraldForest

Hi Folks...Alternative L*z here..I have been living what you could call an Alternative life since 1977 when I ran away from home with 8 pounds in my pocket to Stonehenge festival ( I got there too late ....made my way to Glastonbury free ) . This led me to Tipi Valley in Wales a small collective of people living in Tipis and other unconventional dwellings Back then Off Grid was really Off Grid , Solar panels were a rich mans dream , lighting was a paraffin lamp ,water came from a shallow well and our transport was our Clydesdale cob . Tipis didn't really suit me ...wet ...cold ..draughty .. so I moved into an ancient showmans wagon and then a Gypsy Bender tent. Later we got mobile .... I could ride a bike but never tried a car.....2 years later at another Stonehenge festival ...I bought my first living van ....A Morris 1000 van ....drove it twice round the field ....and off we went.....The rest is history. My headmasters comment in my last school report went " This boy will go a long way ,but I,m not sure in which direction "... Never a truer word said . I wasn't sure myself.

So here we are in 2020...I went a long way . I now live between New Zealand and Bali . A long way from English suburbia . In New Zealand we live off grid on our 60 acre ancient forest in a London double decker bus (Building a pyramid house is on the way )

We base our lives roughly around the 4 elements . Earth..Air...Fire..and ..Water.

Earth is our garden....we grow vegetables ..Flowers ..Trees ...we are planning a food garden labyrinth 56metres across ...Google earth will pick it up .
