Wimbledon Villa Specialist Elder Care

We are a certified aged care home in Feilding. We provide dementia, hospital and rest home level care We have a variety of musical entertainers who visit weekly.

Our residents enjoy a variety of interests which we encourage. Because we are a smaller rest home we are able to focus more on individual preferences. We have a walking group at least twice a week (weather dependent). Some of our residents enjoy gardening and in conjunction with our Diversional Therapist have created their own vege garden, whilst others enjoy entertainment and outings. Our homes piano is put to fantastic and regular use. Our Diversional Therapist arranges a wide and varied group of interests and activities for all including pet therapy, manicures, baking, quizzes, ball sports, exercises, movies, arts & crafts and more. Our Home's van is put to use at least twice a week. Our residents enjoy outings for morning afternoon tea, picnics and day trips around our lovely region. We have 3 beautiful outdoor areas for residents to relax and enjoy their surroundings. Our courtyards are purpose built for people with dementia, with external walking loops and various spots of interest including beautiful gardens to look at and flowers to pick. Activities are encouraged for all our residents but no one is ever made to join in if they choose not to.

Today, we danced amidst the fragrance of daffodils, moving in step with warmth and kindness! 🌼
Wimbledon Villa joined hands with our staff and residents to host a Daffodil Day event, taking action to support cancer research and patient care—making today filled with love and hope. 💛

🎉 Joy and Celebration at Wimbledonvilla! 🎉

December 2024 and January 2025 have been filled with happiness and warmth at Wimbledon Villa! 🌟 We organized a variety of exciting activities, bringing laughter and joy to our wonderful residents. 🎶💃

✨ A special highlight was celebrating the birthdays of three residents, making these months even more memorable! 🎂🥳

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined and contributed to these beautiful moments. Let’s continue creating more joyful memories together! ❤

Last month saw the end of the Olympic Games in Paris and the end of our Olympics events, which brought a lot of laughter, medals for some of our residents and a lot of fun for all of us throughout the month of August.

Earlier this month we celebrated a number of events, Father's Day and Daffodil Day, during which we invited residents' families to join us for High Tea and entertainment, which was enjoyed by all, and Wimbledon Villa would like to thank everyone who took part in this event. Wimbledon Villa would like to thank everyone who participated in this event, because of you Wimbledon Villa is full of joy and happiness.

In July we had many activities for our residents, bringing them happiness and laughs.

Our resident and our staff member danced to the Just Jamming band playing. Also, our residents enjoyed the weekly entertainment, which included performances by Warren Downs and Brian Harris, who would make clothes for his puppets, including Grandpa's rugby boots with studs in them. We also have little daily activities such as Balloon Game, Canine Friends and more!

We will be holding an ANZAC Service at Wimbledon Villa on ANZAC Day, 25th April at 10:30am and would like to invite you to come and join us. Please let us know in advance the number of people you have coming to this event so that we can better prepare enough morning tea for you and your family or friends.
