Before things get too merry and bright, we wanted to share our Christmas opening hours so you can plan ahead. 🎅📅

We’re open right up until Wednesday, December 24th:⏰ 8:30am – 12pm
We will reopen on Monday, January 12th, returning to our usual hours: ⏰ 8:30am – 5:00pm

👓✨ Meet Steph! ✨👓

Steph has been working in optics for over 12 years, bringing sharp vision and even sharper expertise to everything she does. She graduated in 2022 as a qualified dispensing optician and has been part of our team for about six months now—and we’re wondering how we ever managed without her!

When she’s not helping you see the world more clearly, you can probably find her out for a run (she’s conquered a couple of half marathons! 🏃‍♀️) or singing along to just about anything with a beat.

We’re thrilled to have Steph with us—pop in and say hi next time you’re around! 👋

Many of you will already recognise Katie, who has been part of the Visique Feilding Optometry team since 2012! With over a decade of dedication and friendly service, she’s helped countless locals look after their eyes — and always with a smile.

Katie is a true Feilding local, having gone to school right here in town. When she’s not at work, you’ll find her out on the hockey field, spending time with her beloved dogs, or putting together an amazing cheese platter (trust us — it’s legendary 🧀🐾).

This week, our wonderful optometrist Harriet visited the residents of Woodland Retirement Village to share insights about eye health, aging vision, and how to keep seeing clearly for years to come.

It was a pleasure to connect with such a vibrant group, answer questions, and offer practical tips on everything from cataracts to dry eye care. Harriet’s passion for patient education truly shone through — thank you to Woodland for the warm welcome! And it was extra special seeing lots of familiar faces in the crowd :)
