Some beautiful and fine weather here on the coast over the weekend so i was able to head off on a harvest mission.

It's been a long time since i have been able to harvest but it is by far the most enjoyable part of the mahi.

I feel a deep sense of connection to the whenua when i head into the ngahere and the birdsong is so clear and calming.

I always karakia before i gather and i will only ever take what i require. I also ensure i return any plant matter i use, back to the whenua. My harvest is cleaned by hand and air dryed until it is ready for the infusion process.

You can trust that i will always treat our precious taonga with the aroha and respect it deserves 🌱💚
