Hi everyone, I've recently had the privilege of attending the Myofascial Release Course presented by Beth Beauchamp in Tauranga. I found Beth's teaching technique very beneficial and instantly applicable in my current practice.

Fascia is the creator of form and structure in our bodies, one continuous web wrapping and connecting everything. Fascia determines the functioning of our muscles, strongly influencing our range of motion and movement.

What is Myofascial Release Therapy?

Myofascial Release is a safe and very effective hands-on technique that involves stretching and opening the superficial and Myofascial layers of the body to restore space and glide-ability in the body.

Injury, trauma, inflammatory responses, and surgical procedures can create restrictions in the fascia causing pain, reduced range of motion, reduced lymphatic drainage and impede chemical exchange in the the body.

The use of Myofascial Release Therapy allows us to look at each patient as a unique individual.
