Hauora Māori Expo 2025 – Gisborne

Come join us at Te Mata Kupenga 778 Gladstone Road, Te Hapara - GIS

The aim is to wānanga around the awareness, educate, offer tools and strategies on the effects of drinking alcohol whilst hapū - by sharing in our traditional practices such as pūrākau, waiata, karakia - using the ways of our tīpuna. In the series it is also important that we look after self we do this through practicing selfcare through maramataka, rongoā rakau and drawing on the natural elements of the taiao. We invite you to join us for the second wānanga, which will be held on 14 April 2025, from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM.
