Feeling blue that the Surf Life Saving season is over? Never fear, BP NZ IRB National Champs is here. Head down to Waikanae this weekend to soak up the atmosphere! Look for the North Beach SLSC tent, thats where our Midway Masters crew are racing out of.

Nippers & Little Rippers End of Season Prizegiving is still going ahead this afternoon! 🌊

We’ll kick things off with games on the grass from 5.15pm if the ocean hasn’t settled down.

BBQ downstairs in the gear shed from 6.00–6.30pm
🍔 Burgers $4
🌭 Sausage sizzle $2

Prizegiving upstairs in the Members and Mana Moana Lounge from 6.30–7.00pm

A steady stream of Midway members getting it done this weekend at the Gisborne Relay for Life! 💜 Head down to take a few laps and support our clubs quest to raise money for the Gisborne Cancer Society anytime between now and 12pm Sunday.

reminder no formal session tomorrow but feel free to grab a board & have some fun in front of the club tomorrow. There might be a few tired coaches around after their mission at relay for life so make sure you give them a high five!!!
Kids in the water must be supervised by parents!!!!

An incredible 4 days of Surf Life Saving action in Ohope for the mighty Team Midway. Full club results and photos will be out over the weekend so stay tuned!
Massive thank you to every person, every family, every local business and all our volunteers who support our club in whatever way you do.

It is with sadness that we acknowledge the passing of two people connected to Midway and our wider community.

We remember Chris James, known to many as Fred, from Midway’s 70s & 80s era where he served many years as Club Secretary. We send our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends at this difficult time.
Fred’s funeral will be held at Evans Funeral Services on Friday 20th at 11.00am.

We also want to send our love and sincere sympathy to Brian “Chubby” Hays on the recent passing of his beloved wife, Kate.

Our thoughts are with both families, and with all those who knew and loved them. ❤️
