Mid-Week Tip:
Proper cleaning helps extend the lifespan of both your frame and lenses.
Never wipe dry lenses: Dry lenses can trap dust and dirt, which may scratch the surface when rubbed.
Use mild liquid soap and warm water: The best and safest option is to wash your lenses with a gentle, non-abrasive soap and warm water. Such as liquid hand soap or dishwashing liquid.
Rinse your glasses, then apply a small amount of soap. Gently clean to remove dirt and oils. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water to ensure no soap residue is left behind.
Lens spray as an alternative: If soap and water aren't available, use a lens cleaning spray. Spray it generously on both sides of the lenses to ensure complete coverage. This helps lift dirt and oils off the surface without causing scratches.
Wipe with a soft, lens cloth: After cleaning, use a clean, dry cloth to gently wipe the lenses.
