Ahimsa. Do no harm.
What actually happens inside you when your morning doesn’t go to plan?
Phone first. Rushed start. Day already off track.
And then the voice that follows.
For many of us, that voice is quick to judge. Quick to tighten. Quick to make it mean something about us.
There’s a principle in yoga and Ayurveda called Ahimsa.
Do no harm.
And it begins here. Not in how we treat the world. But in how we treat ourselves when no one is watching.
When we’re too much in our heads, we contract. We become harder on ourselves without even noticing. And you feel it - in your breath, in your mood, in how you move through the rest of the day.
Ayurveda isn’t about getting it perfect.
It’s about noticing the moment you turn on yourself… and choosing something softer instead.
A cup of warm water before reaching for your phone. Two minutes of quiet. A kinder inner voice when things don’t go to plan.
That’s what we’re exploring this month inside the Good Change Community - and it’s what Ahimsa looks like in real life.
Just one small act of non-harm tomorrow morning. That’s enough 💛🍂
