Which bookish socks would you choose? 😍

I’m torn between the midnight reading club socks and the pink booklover ones - but then I see the detail in the gothic literature socks and want them too! So can I say all three? 😅

We’re busy packing today for the market this weekend, where we’d love to see as many of you as possible! We’ll have all our books and new goodies on display, as well as a whole new range of Christmas Blind Date with a Book books 🎄

Did you check out our new website last night? 😍

Thank you to everyone who joined us for last night’s book drop slash website launch slash suprise new product drop! It’s been wonderful seeing the love for the new look, and for our new bookish gift collection 🎁

But we’re still all about the books, and we have lots of great new titles this week.

How cute is our new bookish gift collection? 😍

Alongside our new website, we’re launching a range of new products for book lovers, including clothing, homewares and stationery.

These are products we’ve used and loved over the last few years, or things we’ve loved from afar but been unable to find in NZ - until now!

Whether you’re decorating yourself or your shelf, celebrate your love of books with these specially chosen products, designed to share your love of literature with the world.

Tonight’s the night! 🌟

Not only do we have an incredible book drop for you this week (seriously, how good is that stack? 😍), we’re launching our new website tonight!

And that’s not all - we’re also debuting a new range of bookish products we’ve been curating for a while now, and are so excited to share.

The website and new products will be live from 7.30pm so you can check out everything new, with the books going live at the normal 8pm.

Only one day until everything will be revealed… 👀

We’re very excited to launch our new website tomorrow, alongside some new products we know you’re going to LOVE.

Let’s just say the book lovers in your life will be very easy to shop for this Christmas 🥰

All will be revealed on our website tomorrow, so make sure to set your alarms for 8pm (or a little beforehand) so you don’t miss it!

We’ve been working on something secret behind the scenes for a few weeks now, and we’re almost ready to share it with you!

First things first though, we have a new website coming!

Our new website is full of all the books you love, lots of new features you’ve asked for (filter by author alphabetically anyone? 👀) AND a brand new range of things yet to come 🤭

To make the changeover, our website will be offline from Monday night until the book drop on Tuesday - so check back to see the new look on Tuesday at 8pm!

Happy !

Last night we uploaded over 100 kids and YA books including our preloved picture book bundles.

With so many new books added to the website it can be hard to choose which ones to buy so we thought we would share some of our favourites from the drop.

We’ve got box sets and books about space, as well as books dragons of Deltora and minecraft mobs, and even some picture books about Christmas (which is somehow less than 50 days away?!)

On top of all these incredible reads we’ve got a book for kids who want to learn how to make their pocket money set them up for future financial success.

You can find all these kids and YA books and so many more on the website now.

✨ Pre-Loved Picture Book Advent Bundle ✨

Enjoy a cosy countdown to Christmas with our new picture book advent bundles! 🎄

Each pack includes 6 secondhand picture books, beautifully wrapped and ready to open each night in the lead up to Christmas. Every bundle is unique, and is a sustainable alternative to traditional advent calendars, with stories that can be enjoyed again and again throughout the year.

Because these books have been read and loved before, they may have creases, inscriptions, or names written inside - but nothing that gets in the way of the joy of opening and reading the stories together.

We want to encourage families to take a moment in the busy season to read together, as well as spark conversations around sustainability and gift giving - because not everything needs to be shiny and new to be meaningful.

For example, did you know many wrapping papers contains plastic making them unable to be recycled? That’s why we’ve stuck with simple, recyclable brown paper wrapping for these, making them an awesome zero-waste gift ♻️

We have a limited number of picture book advent packs going up on the website tonight as part of our November Kid’s Book Drop, so you can find these and nearly 100 new kid’s and young adult books online at 8pm.

We weren’t kidding when we said we had a jam packed November for you - starting with a Kid’s Drop tomorrow night, and ending with the fifth annual Five Book Drops of Christmas! 🎄

We’ll share everything you need to know before each event, but for now, get these dates in your diary so you won’t miss out!
