Today marks the beginning of something we look forward to every year: our APL Regional Manufacturer Conference Tour is officially underway.

Across New Zealand, our manufacturer network is the backbone of how we deliver our locally made windows and doors. This tour is our opportunity to come to them, bringing the latest APL and AGP Architectural Glass Products product developments, quality assurance updates, and technical insights directly to the people who build and install our systems every day.

On Saturday, many came together to celebrate the reopening of the historic Futuna Chapel in Wellington, with the Mayor of Wellington in attendance to mark the occasion. Since first opening in 1961, the chapel has become one of New Zealand’s most celebrated architectural works. Through the dedication of the Futuna Chapel Trust, and with the support of the project team including the architect Dr Peter Parkes and builder LT McGuiness, it has now been carefully restored and reopened. APL is proud to have supported the Futuna Chapel Trust as a sponsor over the years and to play a part in preserving significant buildings for future generations.

A community building project led by Adam Newton Homes Ltd in support of Southland Rural Support Trust recently saw the completed home auctioned at the Waimumu Field Days. Contributions from the auction help the Southland Rural Support Trust continue providing vital support to farmers, growers, families, and the wider rural community. We alongside Aitken Joinery from our Vantage Windows & Doors manufacturer network supported this project by supplying windows and doors.
