In loving memory of Mereana Aniwa Muriwai (Pearce) (2004–2025).

Mereana touched the hearts of everyone who knew her with her warmth, kindness, and spirit. Though her time with us was far too short, her love, laughter, and light will never be forgotten.

She leaves behind her loving husband and family, who will carry on her legacy with the love and strength she inspired in all of them.

We are deeply grateful to Hospice Waikato for their compassionate care and support during her final days.

A celebration of Mereana’s life will be held on Thursday, 20 November at 11am at Simply Funerals, 449 Te Rapa Road, Hamilton. Friends and whānau are warmly welcome.

Christian McMillan – Forever 21.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Christian McMillan.

A beautiful young man's life ended on Saturday night. Christian had just turned 21 two weeks ago.

A private service will be held for close family and friends, followed by cremation.

MURFITT, Peter Henry 1942 - 2025

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our beloved Pete on Friday, November 7, 2025.

A wonderful Dad, grandfather, and friend. Peter, who brought so much joy, laughter, and steadfast support into the lives of all who knew him, passed away peacefully. We will forever cherish the memories of his kind spirit, his wisdom, and his unique ability to make everyone feel special. His legacy of love and devotion will live on through his family and all the lives he touched.

The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, the 12th, at 10:30 am at New Life Church, 703 Wairere Drive, Hamilton.

Donald lived a full life and pased on 31st October 2025, aged72 Years.

aged 78 sadly passed away peacefully on the 29th October at his home Killarney House. He is survived by his children Jaycen, Heath & Rebecca and grandchildren Briar, Billie, Braxton, Arama, Maxwell, Harrison & Remy and ex wife Rhonda. He will be laid to rest at Owhakatoro Marae on the Saturday morning 1st November.

Loved Father of Errol, Tracey, Sharon, Leon, Bevan, Sandra, and Lincoln. Grandfather to 21 Grandchildren. Great-grandfather to 1 Great-grandchild.
