Today Peanut and Li’l Sebastian went visiting! Peanut and Sebastian are our two Pellow and Hill mascots. They were incredibly well behaved and went round the care home visiting everyone in their rooms. Thank you to the staff for letting us visit, we had a great time seeing the smiles on everyone’s faces 🥰

be gentle on yourself, there is a very fine line between tears and laughter…let yourself cross it.

**FUN FACT** If you are ever heading to quiz night. William is a must have on the team! He is often found carrying our team through from last place, to middle of the table! Thank you William!

Many families in our community have shared meaningful farewells in our White Rose Chapel. It's a calm and welcoming space designed to bring people together - to reflect, remember and celebrate the life of someone special. We thought we'd share a look inside the chapel for those who may not have seen it before.

This May, the P&H team will be walking 50km to support the charity Sweet Louise an organisation dedicated to supporting women living with breast cancer and helping improve their quality of life.

We’ve already had some enquiries from grass roots organisations doing great work in our community about the nomination process for our P&H Community Support Fund. It really does show that there is a genuine need. Officially we won’t be calling for applications until 1 October 2026 but we’d like to thank everyone who has had a full funeral with Pellow and Hill so far this year. $100 from every full funeral between now and 30 September will go into our Community Support Fund. Yesterday we had the pleasure of presenting at Tamahere Country Club on all things funeral-related.

We answered the tricky questions people often feel unsure to ask and created an open space for honest conversation. The audience questions were fantastic, the feedback was even better, and we had a bit of fun with some prizes too!
