It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Tawhai Bartlett.

Sunrise: 30th April 1958
Sunset: 6th March 2026

Dearest son of the late Desmond Eraihia Snr and Hiki Bartlett (nee Banks) Dearly loved father of his tamariki; Sarah-Lee (d), Jay-Tee and Ri, Tawhai Jnr (d), Zani and Chloe, Zena and Jordon.
Cherished Pāpā of all his mokopuna.

Legendary brother to his siblings, and treasured uncle to his many nieces and nephews.

Kahurānaki Marae, Te Hauke. Service begins at 10:30am.

Nau mai, haere mai whānau — please join us to celebrate Tawhai's life, share memories, and honour his journey.

It is with heartfelt sadness, that our Whānau/Aiga announce the passing of our Pāpā Vaea Tafa'i Snr Ioasa.

Born 77 years ago in Fagafau, raised Taga, Savai'i & Letogo, Upolu- migrating to NZ some 50+ years ago.

OG Whakatū, Tomoana and Takapau Freezing Worker.
Lived the majority of his life in Hastings.
Passing suddenly on Friday 27 February 2026, at his retirement village in Papatoetoe, Mānukau.

He has now returned home to Tim Hutchins Funerals in Hastings and will be taken to Houngarea Marae, Old Main Rd, Pakipaki. Hastings at 11am on Monday 2nd March 2025.

Following the family service Oliver will be taken to his home 79 Morris Spence Avenue, Onekawa, Napier where he will be until his Funeral Service.

Oliver’s Funeral service will be held at 9.30am on Saturday 28th February 2026 at the Methodist Church Of Samoa Swansea Drive, Flaxmere, Hastings followed by his interment at the Hastings Cemetery, Orchard Road, Hastings.

Passed away peacefully on the 21st of January 2026, aged 67.

Loved father and father inlaw of Ani, Ahitana & Fame, George, Santana & Kasey. Cherished papa to all his mokos. Treasured son, brother, uncle and friend to many.

Ashton lived a hard life but gave the best of himself to his family. He will be remembered for his strength, sacrifice, and love for his whānau.

A tangihanga will be held at Rongomaraero Marae in Porongahau, beginning on Saturday the 24th of January at 11am.
The service to celebrate Ashtons life will held on 24.01.2026.

Ashton is currently laying at home at 21 Birkenhead Crescent in Flaxmere.
Ashton will leave his whare at 3pm today to leave to Rongomaraero Marae in Porongahau.

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our father, Tony Haapu, who passed away peacefully.

We are grateful for the love, memories, and time we shared with him, and we take comfort in knowing he is now at rest.

Today the last Totara fell silently in the forest. The sunrise was extra beautiful knowing my father was home with his beloved mum, dad, brothers, sisters and many of our loved ones.
He lived his life to the full and loved his soul mate from the night he met her all those years ago. He leaves a legacy of whakapapa and Mahi that will carry on with the future generations.

Dad will be with whānau today. Tomorrow we will take him home to our marae for one night, and a ride to Ruakituri to hang up his bridle before heading home.
