Endings and Tender New Beginnings

Shining brightly in the evening sky,
the November moon drifts low,
a lantern over fields stripped bare,
a quiet guide through the dark night of loss.

It marks endings, fallen leaves, fading light,
yet in its radiant glow, a promise:
watch, prepare, hold fast,
for what waits beyond the darkness.

Shadows stretch like memory,
and the wind whispers of change,
of absence, of silence, of hearts reshaped,
a cycle turning
from decay to renewal,
from sorrow to hope.

Under the moon's steady gaze,
we find our balance,
gather the fragile threads of our tattered hearts,
and trust that with all endings
come tender new beginnings.
