We had the privilege of attending the powerful Tangihanga show, a one-woman performance by the incredible Kristyl Neho. The show follows a grieving whānau and the journey of how they send off their father, a moving portrayal that truly touches the heart.

We were also lucky enough to host a small stall, answering questions from the audience about Tangihanga and sharing in the kōrero.

This is a national tour, and today is her final 2 shows in Hastings. If you’d like to experience this beautiful and powerful performance, you can grab your tickets here:

A big thank you to Kristyl and her amazing team for having us.

🌺 In Loving Memory of Our Beautiful Siena Violet Munro 🌺

A precious mother to Saint, Tui, David, Jack, and Woody, and a dearly loved Aunty and Whāngai Mum to Crystal, Siena faced her journey with incredible strength, grace, and unwavering love for her whānau. Her aroha, courage, and laughter touched so many lives and will never be forgotten.

"Ehara taku toa i te toa takitahi, engari he toa takitini."
My strength is not as an individual, but as a collective.

Siena drew strength from her whānau and gave strength to all around her.
