Remember if you are going into university halls for the first time this year you can get funded Meningitis vaccinations.

MenACWY and MenB vaccines are free for ages 13 to 25 years old in their first year of close-living situations (including up to 3 months before).

Close living situations include:

boarding schools and hostels
tertiary education halls of residence
military barracks
youth justice facilities
prisons

Close living situations do not include:

flatting
other group living situations.

The MenB vaccination requires at least 8 weeks between the 2 doses. Our pharmacist can administer the first dose and the second can be administered at another location.

From 1st of February 2026, the government has announced that doctors may prescribe up to 12 months worth of prescription medicines for eligible patients.

💊 This applies to patients who are stable and have long-term health conditions.

💊 Medicines will still be dispensed in monthly or three-monthly supplies (or shorter in some cases).

💊 The length of your prescription will be at your doctor’s discretion who will use their clinical judgement.
