A quick update on the website.
We've hit a snag, rather large one actually.
We've been diligently inputting dimensions and weights of everything. Which we have done. Phew. Only to ask the question how does the checkout work out the weights? Um, investigate further. Oh sh*te, there's another place to put all that! S**t it's in inches and pounds. Quick call to Mark at Straight Up Websites, he finds the conversion and off we go. Fingers crossed this will be all inputted by the end of next week. It's a setback that's rather frustrating to say the least.
Building a website has been a learning curve of patience (that word again!), endurance and love of what we do.
Going live will happen 🙏

This is Custard. She's over 10 years old. I wanted to introduce her as she fits very nicely with our dail card today of Clear Endeavor.
She is incredibly determined to keep going, even though she can no longer fly, has lost all her neck feathers, is very scraggy and she's very dottery on her feet; but still so beautiful. She has a little water bowl for drinking and bathing, seed on the floor. Custard is very fiesty and particular about her favourite food and if I don't put some extra down there's a bit of hand bags at dawn, canary style, with the other female.
When the carnaries were in the outside avairy she was the only one out of 12, that landed on me every day. Pattering on my back or landing on my hand to get to the seed bowl.
The number of times I've looked into the cage and she's been lying with her head down being very still, and I've thought she'd passed, but no, she lifts her head and off she goes.
If a tiny bird can show so much determination and zest for life, with a character to match. Then we as humans have absolutely no excuses to achieve our goals in life. Take a feather, so to speak, from Custard, put your best foot forward and show some grit and determination to fulfill your destiny to the best of your ability .
