We’re back again with our annual Summer Touch Competition — bring the crew, lace up, and get ready for four weeks of fun, fitness, and friendly competition!

Key Details:
📅 Dates: Friday 21st November – Friday 12th December (Finals & Prizegiving night)
⏰ Game Times: 6.30pm & 7.10pm
👥 Teams: Limited to 8 teams | Max 16 players per team
⚖️ Referees: Each team must provide a competent referee (you’ll ref the alternate round to your team’s game)

We’re super stoked to have Shannon from Whakawhiti Ora Pai Community Health Centre on board this year helping to coordinate and organize the competition 🙌

⚠️ MEASLES UPDATE – TE TAI TOKERAU/NORTHLAND

Kia ora e te whānau,
Measles has been confirmed here in Te Tai Tokerau/Northland.
Please take care and help keep our community safe.

Measles spreads quickly and can be very serious - especially for our pēpi, hāpū māmā, and anyone with weakened immunity.

Watch out for these signs:

- High fever (38°C or more)
- Flu like symptoms e.g. cough, runny nose, sore or red eyes
- A rash that begins on the face and spreads across the body

If you or anyone in your whānau show these symptoms, stay home and call your GP or Healthline on 0800 611 116 before visiting a clinic.

The BEST protection is IMMUNISATION.
MMR vaccines are free for all tamariki under 18 years old and for Adults born after 1969.
If you were born after 1 January 1969 and haven’t had two doses of MMR, you may still need your MMR shot.
