We offer holistic chiropractic, physio and massage therapy to correct pain and see you down a road of better health and well-being. Our health clinic in East Auckland covers three key aspects of health. For relief from back pain, joint and neck pain and to restore joint mobility we start with chiropractic treatment. Therapeutic massage promotes relaxation and the healing process, reducing muscle pain and maintaining health. We don’t want you coming back for unnecessary visits with no real end in sight. When you visit our health clinic, we work to make sure you are healthy and free from pain quickly as possible. We build long term relationships with our clients, helping you to minimize injury and get back to doing the things you love. You can expect us to be honest, give you straight-forward, easy to follow advice, and help you stay motivated towards achieving your health goals. Our physiotherapsists and chiropractors are ACC accredited. No need for a referral. The clinic is Southern Cross and Careway affiliated for your convenience. Velca was established in 2011 and is a locally owned health clinic in Howick, East Auckland with 10 practitioners and supportive staff. Our senior physiotherapists, Abdullah and Usman, recently attended a specialist Nerve Symposium featuring leaders in sports medicine, podiatry, pain science, and neurology 🧠✨

They explored how nerve health affects pain, posture, and movement — including the links between nerve compression, diabetes, injury, and muscle imbalance.

By learning the latest research and hands-on assessment techniques, they’ve brought back new knowledge to help us better support patients dealing with nerve-related pain and dysfunction.

Dr. John recently attended an advanced seminar on TMJ (jaw) disorder assessment and management, led by Dr. David W. Hannah ✨🙌

The session explored how jaw dysfunction connects to posture, cranial alignment, and overall body biomechanics — showing just how much your jaw can affect the rest of you.

Dr. David W. Hannah demonstrated how to assess facial symmetry, muscle imbalances, and movement patterns, as well as techniques to reduce pain, clicking, and tension through evidence-based manual and non-manual therapies.
