AmeriCARna Morning Magic at Marinoto! 🚗🇺🇸

On Friday morning, we gathered under the shade of our beautiful trees on the roadside, as the incredible AmeriCARna (Official) cars cruised past on their way to Stratford.

What a highlight it was for all of us! The rumble of engines, the shine of the chrome, the colourful paint work and of course the beeps, unique horns and waves brought smiles to our faces.

A heartfelt thank you to the hundreds of drivers, passengers and car owners for sharing your stunning vehicles and taking the time to toot, wave and wave your flags as you went by. You truly made our morning. 😍

We finished the day off with some wonderful entertainment and Mr Whippy ice cream delights - and check out our Activities Coordinators Lyn's sweet ride in honour of the AmeriCARna visitors. What a day!

As always there's been lots of vibrant entertainment here over the last few weeks, our Activities Coordinator Lyn has done a fantastic job pulling together the calendar and keeping everyone smiling.
She even roped in the staff to have a go at the ping pong pick-up challenge with the residents - it's harder than it looks!
We've also had many games of bowls, bingo, cards, church services, visits with crowd favourite dog therapy pooch Gidget, the adorable little people from Inglewood Community Childcare Centre Inc and their wonderful Kaiako (teachers), and many talented entertainers - thank you for being so generous with your time.
And check out the stunning flowers we had delivered this week - they always brighten our day up! Thank you to the generous and talented Lynda for being such a skilled grower and bringing them in for everyone.
