✨ Porowhita Tonu – Full Circle ✨

This weekend I had the most beautiful experience at the Porowhita Tonu: Haerenga ki te Ora (Journey of Wellbeing) in Waihōpai. 🌿

The day began with a powerful opening ceremony with taonga pūoro and karakia, setting intentions and grounding us into the space. From there, we moved through the elements of earth, fire, air, and water, each offering something unique and deeply healing.

🌏 Whenua (Earth): grounding movement, yoga, mindful stillness in nature.
🔥 Ahi (Fire): the warmth of the sauna and free-flowing dance to release and energise.
💨 Hau (Air): guided breathwork and the stunning vibrations of crystal singing bowls.
💧 Wai (Water): a refreshing spa infused with rongoā Māori, leaving me feeling cleansed and uplifted.

Meditation throughout the day created space to drop deeper into presence, reconnecting body, mind, and wairua. Each practice wove together so beautifully — leaving me feeling light, balanced, and full of gratitude. 💜

Huge aroha and thanks to the amazing facilitators for holding such a safe, nourishing space. This kaupapa is something truly special, and I feel so blessed to have been part of it.
