From tomorrow, we will be back to meeting the in-person treatment and rehabilitation needs of our valued clients.
Kiwi’s across Aotearoa have done a great job in eliminating COVID from Paradise, and now we get to begin focussing back on our recovery and our wellbeing.

Invercargill Physio is excited to be able to move back to providing face to face services where needed to help you in your rehabilitation, recovery and wellbeing needs – and we have put in place best practice COVID-Safe protocols across our clinics and our community teams to reduce any risk of exposure or further spread.

Find out more about our COVID-Safe requirements here:

As of Thursday the 14th of May, we are now able to see you for face to face appointments, where it is required, and we are still able to provide services via telehealth. Like many New Zealanders, we are proud of Aotearoa for pulling together to eliminate COVID from our shores, and we are excited …

Does exercise put you through a lot of pain? The kind that doesn't just go away within a few days?

Exercise applies stress to the body. Your body adapts by thickening and strengthening the various tissues involved. Hence, muscles get stronger, firmer and sometimes larger, tendons get stronger and bone density increases.

However, if exercise is applied in such a way that adaptation cannot occur, the excessive overload can cause microscopic injuries, leading to inflammation, which is the body's response to injury.

We are open to do Virtual Assessment, contact us on 03 218 6824 /admin@fitforwork.co.nz

We understand that the current COVID-19 situation is a stressful time for everyone. Concerns for you and your whanau’s health coupled with economic uncertainty is at the forefront of everyone’s minds.

At Fit For Work, we are working hard to continue supporting our clients in their rehabilitation and wellbeing journey, while ensuring that we are keeping clients, staff and the community safe. In doing so we have implemented rigorous screening processes, upped our already strict infection control policies and are ensuring that all staff are rigorous in following our pandemic control processes.

We want you to know that we will keep you updated as the situation changes, but for now it is safe to come and see us for any of our services. If in doubt, give us a call.

Be mindful that we can also be your first stop for diagnosis and treatment of injuries - seeing us first for injuries will help unload doctors and A&Es.

Keep an eye on this page for updates.

In the meantime, stay well, stay safe and follow the great guidance that is being provided by our Ministry of Health.
