Today was my last official yoga class.
Some of you may know that I am returning to another love of mine, the travel and tourism industry where I will be working with Air NZ out at the airport, so you may hear my voice on the PA from time to time.
Thank you to all the women and men who have joined me on the mat to breath, to move and to find stillness within.
Words cannot express my gratitude to you all for bringing your tapas every week, for putting your trust in me to guide you through your practice, for having a wee giggle as I mixed up the left from right, for holding that pose just a little longer –2 more breaths!! And most importantly for being you and giving yourself this beautiful gift of selfcare.
We have been on quite the journey over the years exploring different themes,
The Muladhara Chakra - Ground like a tree
Santosha (contentment). Living in the moment and turning mundane moments into magical ones.
Surrender - Surrendering to what is, letting go of what was and believing in what will be.
Svadhyaya – reflections of one true self.
Thoughts – Your thoughts create your reality.
Stillness - Find stillness within and listen to your internal awareness. It is in stillness that we receive.
“Obstacles are detours in the right direction”. (Inspired by Gabby Bernstein) Sometimes in life, not getting what you think you want is a stroke of genius.
Satya / Vishadhu chakra – Truthfulness or true essence. Living & speaking your truth.
Senses – it is through our 5 senses that we awaken our 6th sense – our intuition.
Bring simplicity to life. Simplicity is the gateway to presence.
We’ve also been on Yoga Nidra journeys, climbing mountains and lying on golden rocks and I have loved every moment – Thank you.
I will be hosting casual classes on the odd occasion, so keep an eye out. For now, I may see you beside me on the mat instead of in front of me 😉
Always remember to follow your dreams and be true to your authentic self.
When inspiration hits, grab it with both hands, make a plan, and show up like it’s the most important thing you could do. Share your gifts with the world, there is only one of you…
Namaste,
Ro ❤️
