If something doesn’t feel right, chances are it’s not right..
Note the very low estrogen and progesterone in this test!
Hormone testing is not always necessary however it can be a great tool like all testing to understand and measure why you might not be feeling your optimal šŸ™ŒšŸ»

Now with some herbs, nutrients and a balanced diet we should see this improve šŸ¤—

Lots of talk about coffee this week!
I’m pretty biased when it comes to coffee because it’s an absolute love for me but there are a few things worth keeping in mind:

•if you think your drinking too much, then you likely are.. 1 a day is ideal, 2 maybe at a stretch if your nervous system can handle it

•think about the coffee you are drinking, if it’s good quality it can actually contain a lot of antioxidants. I prefer to go organic as it’s less likely to contain mycotoxins (mould spores). is my go to

•be mindful it’s a diuretic and will flush fluid from your body including much needed minerals (hello magnesium deficiency)

•listen to your body if your having it on an empty stomach as it can create havoc with your blood sugars and nervous system

•don’t forget about having decaf (ideally water filtered) if you feel your ready for a break from caffeine. Also, incorporate more herbal teas into your day- green, dandelion, rosehip, licorice, peppermint and chamomile are my favs

•genetics play a big role in how we metabolise coffee and it’s all to do with the CYP1A2 gene, those who metabolise it fast can get away with a cup throughout the afternoon/evening and did doesn’t stop them from sleeping (that’s not to say it’s good quality sleep however) and those slow metabolisers can only have it in small amounts in the morning or they will be up all night

•avoid artificial sweeteners, sugar, creamers and syrups. Opt for honey if needed, stevia, mct or collagen powder to make it a little more special ✨

Iso snacking getting you good?
Now is the time to make a habit of eating a healthy, balance diet, rich in nutrients necessary for nourishing your immune system and overall wellbeing.
Having healthy snacks in the cupboard ready to go can make it so much easier to make good choices when the time comes.

Here are a few options:
šŸ„•Raw carrots, cucumber, celery or tomatoes
šŸ„‘ Crackers with cheese or avocado
🄄Homemade bliss balls or Tom & Luke balls (I find these the lowest in sugar)
🌰Handful of nuts or natural popcorn
šŸ“Greek, natural or coconut yoghurt with frozen berries
šŸ«A few squares of dark chocolate
🄐If your a baker, try reducing the sugar by half and swapping it to coconut sugar. I also often swap out half the flour for almond meal to give it a bit more of protein and healthy fats.

Also super important to make sure your well hydrated, with the cooler temperature now it’s very easy to forget to keep our water up. Opt for herbal teas or add some lemon to keep it interesting!
