8 years yesterday I gingerly walked out of hospital cancer free. It’s not a full release as people think. You are still watching over your shoulder constantly. You become very aware of your mortality and everyone else’s which is where the appreciation comes in. There is no certainty, but that’s the same for all of us. Still stand so grateful for everyone in my circle then and now ❤️
