We are looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team at Kumeu Village Rest Home. If the following sounds like you, we would love to hear from you!

▪️Proven cooking experience (aged care preferred but not essential)
▪️Reliable, organized, and takes pride in presentation and quality
▪️Understanding of dysphagia and meal texture levels (preferred but not essential)
▪️Food Safety understanding is essential
▪️Great leadership and management skills
▪️General IT & computer skills required
▪️Must have rights to work in NZ (this is not a Visa support role)

🌼 Another beautiful day at The Ladybug 🌼

The sunshine was out, the gardens were glowing, and our lovely ladies were enjoying every moment. From peaceful walks and outdoor skittles to sharing flowers freshly picked from the garden — today was all about simple joys, warm company, and creating memories together. 💛

And of course, the afternoon was filled with laughter and music as Dave joined us for entertainment, followed by a cosy High Tea enjoyed together. These are the moments that make The Ladybug feel like home — gentle, joyful, and surrounded by love. 🌸

We’re on the lookout for a hands-on, reliable person to help keep our beautiful properties looking their best — across Kumeu, Coatesville and Devonport.

That person will be part of a caring team maintaining lawns, gardens, and outdoor areas to a high standard — with a bit of general maintenance thrown in.

✅ Great time management & “can-do” attitude
✅ Eye for detail and pride in your work
