🌼 Another beautiful day at The Ladybug 🌼

The sunshine was out, the gardens were glowing, and our lovely ladies were enjoying every moment. From peaceful walks and outdoor skittles to sharing flowers freshly picked from the garden — today was all about simple joys, warm company, and creating memories together. 💛

And of course, the afternoon was filled with laughter and music as Dave joined us for entertainment, followed by a cosy High Tea enjoyed together. These are the moments that make The Ladybug feel like home — gentle, joyful, and surrounded by love. 🌸

Every day here is a chance to celebrate life, friendship, and the beautiful queens who fill this home with light. 👒💗

We’re looking for an experienced Cook to join our large kitchen team at Kumeu Village Rest Home where great food and teamwork are at the heart of what we do!

About You:

✅ Proven cooking experience (aged care experience preferred but not essential)

✅ Able to work calmly under pressure and lead the kitchen team during service

✅ Reliable, organised, and takes pride in presentation and quality

✅ Understanding of dysphagia and meal texture levels (preferred)

✅ Food Safety understanding essential

We’re on the lookout for a hands-on, reliable person to help keep our beautiful properties looking their best — across Kumeu, Coatesville and Devonport.

That person will be part of a caring team maintaining lawns, gardens, and outdoor areas to a high standard — with a bit of general maintenance thrown in.

✅ Experience in grounds or property maintenance
✅ Great time management & “can-do” attitude
✅ Eye for detail and pride in your work
✅ Comfortable around animals 🐶🐓
