From 1st of February 2026, the government has announced that doctors may prescribe up to 12 months’ worth of prescription medicines for eligible patients.

💊 This applies to patients who are stable and have long-term health conditions.

💊 Please note that medicines will still be dispensed in monthly or three-monthly supplies.

💊 The length of your prescription will be at your doctor’s discretion.
