As you will have seen, currently our Primary Response in Medical Emergency (PRIME) vehicles sit outside in our extreme weather conditions. In winter this means that the vehicles are regularly coated in ice/snow, taking several valuable minutes to clear before our emergency personnel can depart on a callout.

So, to ensure we can respond quickly, the High Country Medical Trust along with High Country Health which operates the Twizel Medical Centre are running a ‘Toyota Hilux Ute Lottery’, first prize is a 2026 Toyota Hilux valued at $63,000, 2nd cash prize of $3,000 and 3rd cash prize of $2,000.

All the proceeds will go towards the build of a double garage to house our PRIME vehicles & associated medical equipment.

The lottery closes, 8th April. Winner will be drawn 9th April 2026

ManageMyHealth has confirmed that a cyber security incident took place at the end of December where some patient documents on its platform were accessed. The breach has been contained and their systems are working normally.
