It’s the Silly 😜 season when life just feels more rushed and busy with work, kids sport and life
🏋️Training v Rest🧘
Both these tools have benefit in our Health + Fitness journey….
Many days are spent Lifting🏋️, for both physical and mental benefit, but you can never rollout too much…
Some days you have to know when stopping completely or at most just going for a walk and 20mins Foamroller is actually more beneficial than Training.
Being in tune with yourself is super important, dont get lost in the whirlwind of ‘Training more’ is the key to best performance.
🚨Being at your best, is about a balance of Training🏋️, Rest🧘, Nutrition🍳, Mental state😮💨
and Sleep 💤.
I myself have had a harsh lesson the past few years, but from that tough journey physically/mentally i have learnt to be far more in tune with myself than ever, dont get me wrong it comes with moments of anxiety and rushing woman (mum) syndrome, but at the same time I am getting better at stopping when I need to and checking in with myself 🧘🏻♀️.
