It always makes me smile when clients ask to keep the same day and time for their appointments so they can stay consistent with their massage routine and look after their health 🤍

Some even book a month or two in advance because they live out of Mangawhai or overseas — just to make sure they don’t miss out. That truly means so much to me.

And it’s always so lovely seeing you again — whether it’s been a few weeks, a few months, or even a few years. I completely understand that life gets busy, so it’s always special when our paths cross again ✨

Massage and Myofascial Release both work to support the body’s natural ability to heal, move, and find balance — but in slightly different ways that beautifully complement each other.

Massage therapy helps release tension, improve circulation, and calm the nervous system. It brings relaxation to both body and mind, easing everyday stress and supporting better sleep, posture, and overall wellbeing.

Myofascial Release (MFR) focuses on the connective tissue — the fascia — that surrounds and supports muscles, joints, and organs. When fascia becomes tight or restricted, it can create pain or limit movement. Through gentle, sustained pressure and awareness, MFR helps restore fluidity and freedom in the body, often relieving long-held tension and improving mobility at a deep level.

By combining massage and myofascial techniques, I aim to create treatments that are both deeply relaxing and effectively therapeutic — helping each person feel lighter, more open, and more connected to themselves.

If you would like a longer massage than the voucher covers, an additional charge will apply (you only pay the difference).

If you prefer, you may split your voucher into multiple sessions.
For example: a 1-hour voucher can be used as two 30-minute sessions.

🤍 Rest in Peace, Gigi 🤍

Sadly, our beloved dog Gigi was very unwell and we had to say goodbye this morning. I’ll be taking a few days off this week to grieve and will be returning gently next week with reduced hours.

My story

I grew up in a small, happy-spirited town in Japan. My grandmother suffered from aches and wanted me to massage her neck and shoulders. Because I wanted some pocket money I started massaging as a kid, and I noticed straight away that a good massage makes people happy.

That’s why I wanted to study to become a professional massage therapist.

After I moved to New Zealand, I studied Relaxation Massage Level 4 at the Southern Institute of Technology in Invercargill. I also hold a Certificate of Achievement in Reflexology, a Certificate of Attendance for Visceral Manipulation Abdomen 1 and a Certificate of First Aid level 1. In the meantime, I have ten years of experience in clinics.

Massage and wellness is my passion and I love to apply my skills to make my clients feel fit, healthy, refreshed and more in tune with their bodies.
