First Health and Wellness Centre A Community Healthcare Facility in the Wairarapa You do not to enrol with our Centre, but we will ask you to complete a short registration form.

First Health and Wellness Centre is here to support the health needs of the Wairarapa Community and out of region visitors through the Manaaki ki Wairarapa Trust. We are open from 10am - 5pm Mon, Weds & Fri and 12pm - 7pm Tues & Thurs

Call ahead to make an appointment 06 777 9070 or drop in and you will be seen as soon as possible. You will be seen by a registered Nurse

Our team of Doctors, Nurses, Nurse Practitioners and Allied Health Professionals, will be here to help you with your health care needs, with each individual being treated holistically, with your wellbeing in mind. Due to a staff shortage on Tuesday 4th November 2025 we will be closing the clinic at 4pm. Will re-open Wednesday 5th November at 9am.

Or Practice Plus for virtual GP appointment.

Just wanting to update you on activity at the clinic.

We continue to fight for funding so we can provide our ever increasing client base, with the entitlements that are being denied as the funders don't think our service is needed. They are not interested enough to ask us exactly what we do, which is of course the same as all the other Medical Centres in the area. (Just without subsidies).
Thank you to all our suppliers for their patience as we work to pay off overdue invoices.
Thank you to all our regular donors we really cannot function without your financial support.
Hopefully your financial support will soon not be needed, but in the meantime we are a Charitable Trust and so all donations are tax deductible.

Christina " Great Hands" Theraputic Massage is leaving us after 3 years here at the clinic. Christina will be sorely missed. Moving to 67 Villa Street. Masterton.

After two years in the planning, we are very excited to be opening an up and coming Healthcare Centre in early 2017, right in the heart of Masterton. We will be providing the Wairarapa with more affordable and accessible healthcare for everyone. We are run by the community, for the community, with input from you, the people of our Wairarapa community.
