It has been 1 year since opening and what a year it’s been!

Unfortunately we have not been able to find a new venue and government funding is scarce. So we have made the decision to close. It has been an absolute pleasure to provide more options to wellbeing & mental health for our town and to have helped many in all ages and stages.

Thankyou to the team of practitioners who came together and supported our community at discounted session fees, some offering free services!

Thankyou to all the local business who supported us along the way and the donations. With out you we wouldn’t have been able to help people!

Journey With Josie is all about constant evolution, self-responsibility, progression over perfection, love, respect and ultimately, vulnerability.
So what is my mentoring about? It is my perspective that everything is a bi-product of our thoughts, paradigms, energy, re-actions and choices.
I love living by and teaching tips & tricks to enable others to embrace these approaches, living towards constant progression (aka happiness) & resilience.

I wholeheartedly agree, that in order to support our familes & partners - we need to worry about our own oxygen mask first.

Update for Matamata Wellness Hub

Our time at the old back packers has come to an end. We would like to thank Matamata Mini Storage for sponsoring our venue!!

Unfortunately we have not been able to find a new space for the hub, but most of our practitioners are able to offer the same services from their private practice.

💚Sessions will still be subsidised through the hub, thanks to our team who decreases their fee and also to our local supportive sponsors who we will mention below.

💚When booking through the website, the practitioner will get in contact with you directly to share where their private office is 🙂

We have enjoyed our time in this venue and have enjoyed even more all the people we have been able to support into their personal growth & mental health journey!
We will keep going as long as we can.

Karen is a passionate counsellor with holistic wellbeing approach to her work. Supporting people through grief & bereavement.

Karen was such a joy to meet, so gentle so kind and has such a big heart. We really are blessed to have her offering support for our community.

This service will be available weekly Tuesdays and Thursdays and we will also have monthly ‘Therapeutic Writing group’ facilitated by Karen.

Our Mums & bubs educator & support group facilitator

We are very excited to announce that we will be offering a Parents & Bubs support and education group from the hub for our new parents 💚
Starting 24th November!

This group will be facilitated by Marissa who runs these classes weekly in morrinsville and is very excited to be able to provide the same service for matamata.

This group will get together to learn everything baby and parent related, specialising in young babies and information for new parents 😊
Each session we will cover a topic regarding pepe development and include discussion about how it relates to you and your wee one. Supporting you along the way & providing extra education & tools.

“My name is Marissa and I am very passionate about babies development and teaching parents so we can better understand and support our Pepe through the various changes. My favourite topics to chat about are movement and sleeping, I can get quite passionate about them!
I look forward to meeting your precious wee ones and chatting with you.”

While the classic name is ‘mums n bubs’ please know that all new parents mum, dad or caregiver are welcome 🙏💚

Happiness comes from within.

Yet many of us search for it outside of ourselves.

Drinking makes many feel happier, so does shopping, smoking, receiving compliments from another etc… these are all external & temporary

When we do the personal development work, the inner healing & start taking responsibility for ourselves…we don’t need the list above to make us feel good because youl naturally start feeling happier from within yourself because the pain is gone.

No one else can make you happy. That is all up to you.
