Don’t let scammers steal your holiday cheer

The holiday season is a busy time for online shopping - and for scammers. We’re seeing an increase in fraudulent SMS messages claiming to be from NZ Post.

What to look out for:

• Messages from unknown or international numbers
• Links that seem suspicious
• Requests for personal or payment details
• Urgent language such as “Please arrange a new delivery date immediately”, “Your parcel will be held at the local depot until certain date” or “If no new delivery time is arranged before this date, your shipment will be returned to sender.”

How to stay safe:

• Do not click on links from unknown senders
• Contact NZ Post directly to confirm any message
• Report suspicious texts by forwarding them to 7726

This Tuesday, 9th December, Methven Pharmacy will be closed from 10:30am to 12:00pm.

Why? Because Santa is visiting town, and we’re heading out to support our children as they take the stage and perform! 🎅✨

To make up for the closure, we’ll be staying open later — until 6:00pm that day.

We’re sorry for any inconvenience and truly appreciate your understanding as we take this moment to celebrate with our families and join in the festive community spirit.

With the busy season fast approaching, just a reminder to make sure you are up to date with your medications before public holiday closures.

It is ideal to request new scripts 10 days before you run out if possible.

This allows your Dr time to create it and send it to us and for us to order anything that may be needed. We look forward to seeing your friendly faces over this time and dont forget we are here to help you with all your gift ideas as well! 🎄🎅 .
