As a qualified Group Fitness and TRX instructor I am passionate about fitness and working with people to assist them in achieving their fitness goals. TRaXtion combines TRX strength and mobility exercises with cardio bursts to create a complete body workout, in a friendly relaxed environment. Focusing on one on one or small group training enables the instructor to tailor the workout to the individuals needs and adapt to suit any specific target areas or allow for injuries etc. Because it is gentle on the body and can be adapted to any intensity, it is suitable for all fitness levels. It is also highly recommended for pre-natal and post-natal (another passion of mine as a mother of 2 little ones) therefore TRaXtion is set up so that your babies/toddlers can come and play in a safe controlled environment. We'll even incorporate them, when we can :) (applies to specific classes, so enquire please). Timing is flexible to suit peoples busy lifestyles, so interest will determine the timetable. If you have a small group who'd like to come together, or want to come along at a specific time get in touch and we'll make something work for you. Free trial. Monday mornings can be our toughest mornings…. But they can also be our greatest. Why should we never miss a Monday morning workout? By choosing to work a little harder on Monday, we give ourselves permission to perform better in both physical and mental capacities, and thus create a trajectory that is ripe for success. Here’s just 2 of the many reasons why Monday movement have such impact. • Morning exercise increases your energy throughout the day by releasing endorphins, those natural energy boosters that help increase alertness, focus and productivity. • Exercise boosts hormones such as serotonin and dopamine, those hormones that regulate our mood and help us stay calm and relaxed in our busy days hence improving productivity. Start the week in a way that promotes healthy habits and you have a better chance of this continuing.

In fact it’s proven that there is more activation with than without a suspension trainer…. In a study published in the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research, twenty-one participants executed 2 repetitions of four different front plank exercises for 3-seconds each.
This included plank with both your arms and feet on the floor (conventional floor-based plank), plank with arms suspended, plank with feet suspended and plank with both arms and feet suspended.
The studies showed that there was greater abdominal muscle activation in the 3 suspended planks than the floor-based one, particularly with the plank with the arms suspended and the one with both arms and feet suspended.
