Some women believe that as they age, they LOSE their looks.
Oh my friends how wrong this is.
A beautiful young women is a happy accident of nature but a beautiful older woman?
She is a work of art.

The Japanese have a practice whereby they fill any broken objects with gold, believing that something which is broken has earned its beauty and should be celebrated and decorated rather than discarded.

I feel this way about women.

It took a long time to find out who you really truly are.
A long time.
The acceptance that old age brings is freeing.
It brings with it peace and happiness.
Everyone knows, happiness looks good on us all.

Your body has been changing since the day you were born and will continue till the day you depart.
Ride with it, accept it, embrace it.
Be amazed by it.
Allow your face to represent your life, your stories, your joys.

The trick with ageing successfully my friend, is to pay as little attention to it as possible.

A MESSAGE FOR MEN ... (shared)

What turns me on….. I get a lot of random messages on here from strange men asking what turns me on.

So, I thought I might just put it out there because I think I speak for a lot of women on this and I’m here to help.

Do you want to know what turns me on? What makes me burn for you?

What makes us breathless? What awakens every passionate instinct and unwraps every layer of fiery feminine sensuality?

Go to freaking therapy.

Do your inner work.

Heal yourself.

Lead yourself.

Be brave enough to get uncomfortable for the sake of wholeness and depth.

Be willing to build your emotional muscle so your arms are strong enough to hold the fire of an awakened woman.

Be open enough to lean into a level of depth you’ve never experienced.

Talk.

Be humble enough to admit that you don’t know everything.

Go deep.

Get real.

Stop hiding behind surface-level s*x.

Evolve.

Confront what you need to confront so you can move forward without the shadow of your past.

Stop thinking that vulnerability is weakness. It takes a GIANT of a wild man to get vulnerable and it’s HOT.

Stop running from magic when it’s exactly what you need.

Stop telling yourself she’s too much when the reality is you’re just afraid to be enough.

Lead yourself so you can lead ME.
Believe that you can handle it. Act accordingly.

Be the safe space. The strong ground. The calm for her storm.

Do this and you’ll find your Goddess. Do this and you’ll be taken to a place of wholeness and ecstasy you didn’t know existed and likely wouldn’t have found on your own.

Do this… and you’ll be home.

P.S. Girls - do the same or stop complaining. 😉

Our daughters need us not to be perfect.
They need us to be messy, raw, and real,
admitting our mistakes and apologizing for them,
pink in the cheeks with embarrassment, and feeling our feelings with tears in the corners of our eyes.

They need to hear us discussing our struggles with them. They weren’t there to witness them all, so they may think we never had any.

But let’s tell them what we overcame, so no shame exists between us, and they’ll feel comfortable revealing their authentic selves, too.

We want our daughters to view mistakes as an opportunity to learn and grow, not a failure.

Because gosh, we should be tired of hearing about girls uncomfortable in their skin, poking, prodding, and tugging at their stomachs when they don’t live up to their own expectations, looking in the mirror and feeling not enough.

So no, we shouldn't want girls who smile pretty, don’t take risks, and keep themselves small stuck in a perfectionist mind.

We should want our girls strong, resilient, and BRAVE.

Girls who go after challenges just like our boys who are always encouraged to play rough, climb high, and reach for the stars.

So our daughters need us not to be perfect,
so, they, too, can reach for the stars for themselves, and each and every woman after them to become the brave and imperfect humans, they were meant to become.

And if I go,
while you're still here ..
Know that I live on ,
Vibrating to a different measure
Behind a thin veil you
cannot see through.
You will not see me,
So you must have faith.
I wait for the time when
we can soar together again,
Both aware of each other.
Until then ,
live your life to the fullest
And when you need me,
Just whisper my name in your heart ,
…I will be there .
