This morning we farewelled an exceptional man, the landlord I've had at work for the last 16 years, Peter. He was also a client. And he was so so kind. He set the bar high for landlords, which I'm sure his kids will now pick up and keep going with 😊

Those of us who work in hands-on therapies often feel much more connected with our clients than the frequency with which we see them might indicate.

They give us the honour of being right in their personal space, they trust us to listen to their bodies (and to many stories). Sometimes we laugh with them, sometimes we cry with them. We do feel for them, it's part of the job, a special part.

Rest in love, Peter, back with your wife of 61 years 💖
