Mornings feel better when they start in the water and our new Aqua Rise sessions are a great way to set the tone for your week ahead!

Water resistance does the hard work without the strain, and the session leaves you feeling awake, clear-headed and ready to get on with it. It’s supportive, welcoming and designed so you can move at your own pace.

We just started our sessions this week but you haven’t missed your chance to join! Aqua Rise runs on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30-7:15am, and you can jump in at any point during the 6-week block.

The full program is $90 for unlimited access, with a casual option available. It’s free for Premium and SuperGold members. Sign up at reception and we’ll see you in the water!

Aqua Fitness is back by popular demand! Ocean Spa are hosting 6-weeks of fitness fun from 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 – 𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹.

Rise with the sun every Monday and Wednesday from 𝟲:𝟯𝟬𝗮𝗺 – 𝟳:𝟭𝟱𝗮𝗺 in our heated lap pool. Our Aqua Rise classes taken by our qualified instructor Paddy are low-impact, high-energy and lots of fun! 🙌

These classes are suitable for all fitness levels and designed to leave you feeling refreshed, accomplished, and ready to take on the day!

A basic level of water confidence is required as these classes are held in deep water. We have a limited supply of aqua dumbbells and belts but please bring your own if you have them 😊

Art Deco Festival weekend is back in Napier this weekend, and it’s always special seeing the city step back in time!

Ocean Spa has long been part of Marine Parade. Sea baths first opened on this site in the early 1900s, and for generations locals and visitors have come to this stretch of coastline to swim, soak, and spend time by the water. The pools have changed over the years, but the connection to the sea and the parade has always stayed the same.

With the festival on, Marine Parade will be busier than usual, so it’s worth allowing a bit of extra time for traffic and parking if you’re planning a visit.

Once you’re here, it’s a great place to take it all in. From the pools, you’ve got one of the best vantage points in town - watching the planes overhead and soaking up the Art Deco atmosphere from the water.

Warriors visit Ocean Spa before game day! 🏉💦

This afternoon the NZ Warriors dropped into Ocean Spa for some hot-cold dips to help loosen up their muscles ahead of tomorrow’s clash against the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles at McLean Park.
