As many of you know, we are incredibly fortunate to have Clive joining us here in Nelson.
Clive spends his year teaching workshops and retreats across Europe, Bali, Japan, and previously dedicated over 30 years teaching throughout India and Nepal.

I first met Clive in 2000 during a weekend workshop while I was completing my Yoga Teacher Training on the Gold Coast. I later spent a month on retreat with him in Rishikesh, North India, and most recently shared 10 transformative days in Bali under his guidance.

If you’re curious to explore the deeper layers of yoga beyond the physical practice, Clive is truly the real deal. At 79 years old, he continues to inspire students worldwide—with no social media presence, yet an extraordinary international community that seeks him out year after year.

✨ Early Bird pricing ends tomorrow!
Don’t miss this rare opportunity.

The months are passing by very quickly, so just a reminder that the early bird special for Clive's weekend sessions, finish on the 1st of December!

Here's a little bit about Clive.
~~~ Clive has been sharing his potent cocktail of Hatha Yoga sadhana & Self Inquiry since many years now. During the weekend workshop he will introduce a compact variety of essential Asana & Pranayama, that are beneficial for maintaining & increasing both physical & mental vitality, whilst simultaneously steading the mind.
And with a deepening inner focus, the introduction of Self Inquiry becomes a potent tool to gradually 'open the Heart & clear the mind' with the ultimate wish to heal & dissolve all unresolved sadness still lingering within the emotional & psychological mind💥
Lacing his teachings with reminders of the importance of devotion to our divine inner Essence, Clive shares with clarity & loving humour, yet challenging us to wake up to this personalised dream of "me" - & to sense our potential for Awakening beyond the mind 🔱 ~~~
[the Asana sessions are suitable for all levels of Yoga friends].
This will be Clive's first time to NZ, and we are very fortunate to have him.
He has a busy annual schedule running retreats and workshops throughout Europe, Japan, Bali.
Your investment until the 1st of December.
Friday evening - $55
Sat/Sun - $355
Fri/Sat/Sun - 385
This is more than just a training, it’s an opportunity to awaken a deeper understanding of the self through the ancient teachings of yoga.
Our training is designed to deliver the most authentic teachings from a highly experienced and devoted team, each with over 25 years experience.
We want you to feel connected, confident, and comfortable. Whether you're here to deepen your personal practice and growth, or seeking a refresher and an additional certified 100 hours of continuing education (available to those who have completed a 200-hour teacher training), this immersion is designed to support and meet you where you are at!
It's time to step away from drop-in classes and fully commit to a structured program that builds consistency, knowledge, and strength — on and off the mat. There is nothing quite like a full immersion.
Review:
I've recently done the 100h Yoga Immersion with Julie Stephens and it has been such a wonderful journey. There's just so much you can get out of ten days of training, but honestly with her knowledge and her caring way of sharing it I really fully immersed myself and learned so much! I would recommend it to anyone interested in taking a step further in understanding this magic philosophy. Lots of time was dedicated to the teaching side of yoga and I gained lots of confidence. Everything I learned was taught from the heart, and that's the reason why my heart will be full for a while now too ✨️ thank you Julie, all the teachers and all my companions for making it such a memorable 10 days block. Namaste 🙏
💡 Early bird pricing ends October 1 — just one week away!
Back from Bali and Kerala and ready to dive into our annual Spring Yoga Challenge!
The past month has been a whirlwind of connection, learning, and deep practice.
I was fortunate enough to attend a 10-day yoga retreat with one of my old teachers in Bali. It was an incredible experience with 6 hours of Asana, Pranayama and Meditation everyday. We also enjoyed daily noble silence until lunch, and 3 days of silence which enabled a deeper space for self enquiry and depth.
From Bali I popped across to Kerala, South India to run my 7-night Ayurveda Yoga Retreat, which was incredible! The staff went above and beyond in every way and the location is stunning.
These experiences have left me feeling deeply inspired and full of energy, ready to jump straight into our Annual Yoga Spring Challenge - three times a week, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 6.30 am - 7.30 am.
Starts on Monday the 29th of September.
Location: Trafalgar Street Hall, next to the river, Nelson.
Investment: $260 for 18 classes.
It's a great opportunity to dust off the winter cobwebs, reset your daily rhythm, and step boldly into summer with renewed energy and purpose!
Find the peace in the spaces in between ❣️.
It's been many years since I have had the opportunity to spend time with one of my enlightened teachers .
Clive Sheridan is one of the few authentic and present yoga teachers left, it seems. He's far removed from any social media, online presence, and I guess at the ripe age of 79, he doesn't need it or want to know about it!
As I find myself blessed to spend the next 10 full days in his presence, here in Bali with fellow yogis and yoginis, it takes me back to the one month retreat I did with him in Rishikesh, North India, 23 yrs ago!
These retreats are deep, authentic, mystic, challenging, and life changing. They offer a safe space for deep self enquiry with the tools (yoga asana, meditation, days of silence, and pranayama) to enhance transformation and awakening.
Each day we start at 5 45am - 8am. We meditate for 45 mins and practice various pranayama techniques until 7.45.
We break the fast from 8 - 10.
10 - 12 is Asana practice.
12-3.30 pm is lunch and chill time.
3.30 - 7pm Inversions and more pranayama.
7pm Dinner and bed.
An intense schedule, but an invaluable opportunity to be able to devote this much time to self exploration and growth! This is what immersions are all about, exploring the much deeper layers of this mystical path.
If this is something that resonates with you, get in touch 🙏
My Story
Offering 200-hour RYT certified Yoga Teacher Training
I started my yoga journey approximately 30 years ago and after many years of travelling around the world I decided I was ready to commit myself to becoming a yoga teacher.
The draw card for me was/is more of the spiritual aspect as I have always been curious about the bigger picture, meditating and finding contentment. The physical side was an added bonus.
In the late 90s, I was living on the Gold Coast in Australia and practising regularly at the Gold Coast Yoga Centre. In 2000, I started my yoga teacher training apprenticeship – at that time it didn’t have an end to it. I was basically told that I would be finished my training when they saw that I was ready. This took 18 months of practising six days a week, 30 hours a week. There were no excuses for missing the training and if I didn’t turn up, I would have been expelled from the program. With hindsight, this was one of the most important lessons I learnt, as it gave me the dedication to continue my six-day-a-week practice no matter what the circumstances were. I had to maintain this combination of devotional practice and study which allowed me to gain a much deeper knowledge and understanding of the amazing art and science of yoga.
