Be Well Naturopathics is a Naturopathic Clinic / consultancy service run by Sara Nicholson ND. A graduate of the South Pacific College of Therapeutics in 1986 Sara has a wealth of practitioner experience and continues to apply her dedication to patients whilst keeping up to date with the latest developments in the field of natural medicines and therapies and their current applications. What or who is a - Naturopath in the 21st century? A fully qualified registered Naturopath is a natural healthcare provider of high calibre, a physician able to provide professional natural healthcare services. Naturopaths use non-invasive medicines and therapies to treat not just the symptoms but more importantly the underlying causes of health issues. Naturopaths prescribe and apply natural medicines and therapies which enable the activation of the inherent healing and balancing faculties of the human being thereby assisting their patients in achieving and maintaining the best possible physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health, and holistic wellbeing. Consultations vary dependant on your concerns. Because the philosophy underlying Naturopathy is one of identifying and treating underlying causes, a comprehensive approach is taken. This means that an initial naturopathic consultation for chronic health complaints usually involves a comprehensive health appraisal which uses some or all of:- discussion, questionnaire, Quantum Reflex Analysis (QRA) and other forms of analysis as indicated such as Iris analysis (Iridology), Hair mineral test analysis, nail and tongue analysis.

Here's a question for you. Do you know what the difference is between:- a nutritionist, a herbalist, a homeopath, a massage therapist, a reflexologist, an iridologist, an applied kinesiology practitioner, a colour healer, a touch for health practitioner, and a naturopath?

The answer:- a Naturopath (a properly qualified, registered one at least, with a level 6 Diploma or above is usually many if not all of the above and more. :)
