Two Questions for you to consider....
Question 1:
Would you like a tax free lump sum payment of $250,000 if you suffered from cancer or a heart attack?
Question 2:
Would you like a tax free lump sum payment of $250,000 if you could never work again as a result of accident or sickness(70% of long term disabilities are a result of sickness which ACC does NOT cover)?
