ICL commenced work several weeks ago on a new cattle underpass project.

The underpass, including wing walls and headwalls, incorporates our proprietary bolt-together design, which significantly reduces on-site construction requirements. Installation is streamlined to a single-day process from set-out through to completion, minimising road closures and disruption to road users.

The ICL team is scheduled to travel to Woodville next month to undertake the installation phase of this project.

With a comprehensive supply and installation service agreed upon and accepted by our client, ICL is proceeding full steam ahead with detailed shop drawings and manufacturing, involving the supply and installation of nearly 90 panels and 4 staircases.

Located opposite the Karewa Motel within the broader Karewa development, Portland Commercial will bring additional diversity to Te Rapa's commercial landscape by integrating food, services, healthcare, and residential units. The twelve apartment units, designed for couples and small families, will be situated above the ten commercial tenancies, showcasing a mix of uses. ICL was recently commissioned to undertake a comprehensive project involving the design, removal, construction, and installation of an 18m pre-stressed and precast bridge for a farm and forestry application in south Taranaki. ICL successfully completed all facets of the project, encompassing design through to council approvals and final sign-off. The design process incorporated meticulous consideration of precast components, with all parts fabricated off-site and installed on-site as a kit, necessitating only installation works on-site. Notably, the removal of the existing bridge and the subsequent installation were accomplished within a mere four days, exemplifying an outstanding achievement.

ICL was contracted to supply and deliver 90 precast panels, including balconies, stairs, and pre-stressed flat slabs, for the new North Piha Surf Lifesaving Club.
