What is that “clicking” or “knot-like” feeling during a massage?
Many office workers or people with poor posture develop muscle tension, especially around the shoulders, shoulder blades, and neck.
When we massage and feel a tight lump or hear a “click” sound, it’s often due to what we call a Trigger Point – a small, hardened area of muscle caused by overuse, stress, or poor posture.
What is a Trigger Point?
It’s like a tiny muscle knot that forms when the muscle stays contracted for too long. When pressure is applied during massage, it may feel sore, tender, or even make a “clicking” sound – like there’s a bolt inside your muscles! 😅
But don’t worry – that’s your body releasing tension and improving blood circulation.
Massage helps relax these tight areas, reduce pain, and restore flexibility 💆♂️💆♀️
The more knots we find, the more your body is telling you to take care. Let us help! 🧡
