Skin Aware's mission is to reduce the mortality rate of Melanoma in New Zealand. With NZ having the highest rates of skin cancer in the world and an ageing population the need to raise awareness has become more urgent than ever. Skin Aware offers a personable, professional, compassionate service to workplaces focusing on early detection and prevention of skin cancer. This is done through education sessions, screening clinics and liaison support. Our staff are real carers, with strong values and a highly professional attitude.

Another year of putting skin health on the map… literally.

This year, we brought workplace skin checks and UV Aware programs to businesses across New Zealand, from Auckland to Invercargill.

As we wrap up our skin check numbers for 2025, we’re proud of what those checks add up to.

In December alone, we carried out 131 skin checks. Across 2025, that total reached 3,287 checks delivered nationwide.

That’s thousands of moments for early detection, important conversations, and better protection for the people behind our workplaces.

Thank you to every organisation helping make skin health part of workplace wellbeing. Because prevention only works when we show up.
