inside-out.nz I work with people to stabilise their nervous systems, an important step in addressing sleep and anxiety challenges.

I am a Certified Practitioner using the researched backed body-mind modaility EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) aka 'Tapping'. I struggled with chronic insomnia for many years and nothing I tried worked. I didn't know then about the key role my nervous system was playing. When your nervous system is primed to being in a heightened state it becomes increasingly sensitive overtime making it increasingly harder to sleep and more easy to trigger into anxiety, depression, panic attacks. There are different pathways to your nervous system being in a more reactive, heightened, over sensitive state but, regardless, it can be stabilised. The reason why it gets harder and harder to relax and sleep is because there are actual physical changes that happen in your body. Once that happens it is easy to get trapped in an ongoing cycle of struggling with sleep, anxiety/depression. Your mental, emotional, and behavioural patterns can build up further entrenching the problem. The good news is we can calm it all down and then address what got you there in the first place (-:

Today I was at my third ever meeting... and I’m hooked!! It’s the business network I’ve been waiting for.

It feels so good to meet other business women on the journey to growing their offerings, sharing and learning together. Building Inside Out has felt like a very solo journey in many ways, but I can already feel it’s not going to be that way any longer.

You know I did give up for a bunch of years... I didn't think I would find a way out of insomnia so there seemed no other choice, I had to just 'live with it' best I could.

If I knew then what I know now, I wouldn't have hesitated or waited to get the help I needed. I would have trusted there was a solution, spent the money, got the help and escaped the living nightmare so much sooner.

Don't let your mind or these silly myths trick you into thinking you're the problem!

Fixing your sleep takes time and lots of self belief, it's during the times of mass exhaustion that these myths can break you down and make you feel like you're failing. BUTTT i'm here to tell you to tune everything out and remind yourself that you're doing great and you deserve great sleep!

The Services I Offer You

I work with people intuitively utilizing Reiki energy healing, NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), Tapping/EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), theraputic massage and a range of other modalities depending on what's needed. Your presenting challenge may be on the mental/emotional or physical level, short or long term. Unwanted dysfunctional patterns, habits and addictions can also be addressed. My goal is to show and teach people that their own answers to their own healing and fulfilment lie within. My role is to help people recognize, understand and experience the truth of that so they can reconnect with their inner knowing, personal power and self confidence to look first to themselves and trust that the answers that are best for them are there. Healing ourselves is a practice of going within, re-connecting with ourselves on a deeper level, learning to listen to the signs we are given, neutralizing unhelpful underlying beliefs and memories we hold at the subconscious level, and releasing blocked emotions stored in our bodies often expressing themselves as pain or ill health in some form. When we have emotional or physical pain or discomfort of any kind it is our body communicating to us that an imbalance at a more subtle level is present. These imbalances manifest last at the physical level and if we only address the physical symptoms and not the core imbalance then physical symptoms are likely to continue and more persistently over time trying to get our attention.Once we shed light on the imbalance we can clear the way for the bodies innate healing system to bring us back to a state of wellbeing. I believe it is never too late to grow, learn and heal ourselves, our relationships, our lives no matter what the next step in our journey is. All you need is to be open and willing to take the next step, then the one after that and TRUST.
