Last week I talked about bringing the body back into alignment in order for it to heal. However, while this is important, life doesn't let us stay in neutral all the time.
For this reason, once your body is strong in its neutral position, we want to start strengthening it in positions that aren't neutral. This helps to mitigate injuries that can occur during accidents or less than ideal conditions. To do this we want to stimulate the body by putting it through movements in an unbalanced way in a controlled environment.
Ways we can achieve this include:
π€ΈπΌββοΈ Joint End Range Movements
π€ΈπΌββοΈ Squat Variations
π€ΈπΌββοΈ Lunge Variations
π€ΈπΌββοΈ Spinal Waves
π€ΈπΌββοΈ Hanging Exercises
π€ΈπΌββοΈ Animal Movement
π€ΈπΌββοΈ Inversions
π€ΈπΌββοΈ Unilateral Movements
