What a year!

As 2025 wraps up, we’re buzzing to celebrate our Ahi Kaa Cadets who’ve stepped up, smashed their recruits course, and are now bona fide Firefighters in brigades across the motu. Ka mau te wehi!

THEREFORE WE ARE CALLING FOR NEW CADETS… thats right!!!!applications are now open for new Ahi Kaa Cadets in 2026 to fill spaces.

If you’re 13–16 and keen for a year of hands-on fun, teamwork, and real-deal emergency service skills (with plenty of laughs along the way), we’d love to hear from you.

Spaces are limited, so shoot us an email telling us why you’re keen by November 25, 2025.
