A Remote Session On A Faraway Cat!
There is often a lot of debate about the need for permission to send "distance" healing to a person, people or place. Do I have to ask people permission to send them healing? Sure, for me I usually ask beforehand as ‘that’s the way I roll’. However, there was one case (and there’s always one isn’t there) that was different.
A while back, I was on a BodyTalk course in Auckland and during the evening one of the participants asked me if I would have a look at her hip pain. This was pre-empted by the fact that moments earlier I had relieved another participants’ neck pain in ten minutes! Back then, I was at the stage of playing with energy - as always, a joy for me. “Sure” I said and started working on her hip pain.
Everything was going well, when she said “I bet this is to do with my cat”. Somewhat perplexed, I asked why? She said that her pride and joy had had a recent hip operation and since returning home, had not hardly moved. At this stage, nearly a week had passed since the operation.
‘Who knows!” I replied. At the time, I was blissfully unaware of connectedness and laws of universal energy - everything is interconnected; there is no separation. It is only our limited understanding that leads us to see things as separate. To be fair, I was just trying to sort out the lady’s hip pain. Fifteen minutes or so later her hip pain had gone and I looked at it as a job well done! Two pains resolved in under half an hour, I may have missed my vocation in life!
The next day, I bumped into her again and was taken aback when she told me that she had phoned her partner back home in Australia and was told that at roughly the same time I was working on her hip, the cat got up and walked outside and disappeared into some bushes. Around three hours later the cat returned and has been moving normally ever since!
Now all I can think of is that the clientyhad the symptomatic pains of the cat, after all, it was her hip! Also, she must have been thinking of her cat at the time.
Nevertheless, at no stage did I ask the cat for permission, or had the intention to heal the cat! Whatever, the cat must have graciously accepted the healing. Ah, the interconnectedness of it all!
